World Cup 2018, Denmark vs France: What time is kick-off

What is it?

Much-fancied France are taking on Denmark in their last group game of the 2018 World Cup.

When is it?

Today! Tuesday, June 26.

What time is kick-off?

3pm BST.

What TV channel is it on?

You can watch this one ITV 1, with the other 3pm match - Australia vs Peru - taking place on ITV 4.
Telegraph Sport will also be bringing you live coverage of both matches - and all games during this World Cup.

What is the team news?

Denmark will be without William Kvist, who suffered a rib injury against Peru.
France's centre-back Samuel Umtiti has been struggling with a thigh strain and may be rested. Adil Rami is the most likely to take his place.

What's the latest news on the two teams?

France have rrecorded two narrow victories and now face tougher competition in Denmark. They still haven't found a way to play with Dembele, Mbappe and Griezmann and ended up playing with Olivier Giroud leading the line against Peru. Didier Deschamps will need to get his team settled into a rhythm.
A bad result here and an Australia win could see Denmark go home at the group stage, so they will be keen to keep their destiny in their own hands.

The French are already through to the last 16, but the Danes could do with picking up a point, because a big win for Australia against Peru would see them leapfrog Denmark into second place in Group C.

What are the odds?

  • Denmark win: 7/2
  • France win: 6/5
  • Draw: 8/5

What's our prediction?

France to shade it with a dodgy VAR decision late in the game, just like against Australia. Cristian Eriksen will also score, because he is brilliant and on brilliant form.
Prediction: 2-1 France
